I found today’s episode extremely depressing . My nephew kept asking me why my face was so funny because there was times that I was in shocked. I honestly believe that if I was in the war and fought on the same field as them I would have gone insane. The bodies in the hole after the bombing looked like rubber to me and not because that was probably what they used to create the scene but because how lifeless they looked. The only thing that kept reminding me that what was going on actually wasn’t real even though it was probably how it happened was that the main character was Selena boyfriend in the movie Selena. What really caught my attention in this episode was what the guy writing the poem said, I believe the line was “the holocaust of the heroes.” It kept me thinking about perspective. For us it was the holocaust of the heroes because our heroes are dying but for the Japans too because their heroes were being killed as well. What may be one way for us may be the same or different for others; everyone’s perspective is different.

Watching those war scenes make me feel funny. The way they just shoot at each other, and when things just get exploded is sad but cool in some way. While watching, all the time through my head I just think what I would do if I was in that situation. Would I help my friend or run for my life, most likely I would try helping my friend, but I just get some funny feeling thinking about what it must feel like to be in a war. The sight of all the bodies on the floor, in the trenches it looks so destroyed, and I wonder how do they identify the bodies to let their families know.

Oh Andrew... We almost made it all the way through this blog without someone writing a "u" to mean "you" -- so close! By the way, you've managed to completely insult all twins! If you've ever met twins, even those who are identical, they have a LOT of things that make them unique... Just because you look like someone doesn't mean that you're just like them! Those tennis playing twins were very unique in that they did SO many things alike...

I know Andrew... It seems like it's been "beat up on Andrew" week... Sorry about that... You've just been quicker than everyone else in answering this week so it just happens that you've been the one I picked on first. :)

Don't worry Angie, I will pick on everyone before the year's out... But while I'm picking on you... "...thingy the women WERE using"... not "was using"... "women" is plural so you need to use "were"...

Regina, in answer to your questions... No, you do not need to have a college degree of any kind to be the President's Chief of Staff -- the President can appoint anyone he likes. Although I don't believe I've ever heard of one who hasn't had a college degree... Secondly, an approval rating is a poll that someone takes to find out how popular you are... Right now, for example, President Obama's approval rate is 46% -- meaning that less than half of the people in the United States approve of how he's doing his job at the moment...

I thought for a while about whether I should even mention this, but I will, because I think you should know about it... I guess it's worthy of its own posting, but the man I'm talking about is anathema to me -- meaning that he is a person so detested and loathed -- that I refuse to put up a picture of him, or give him a posting of his own, for personal reasons. I only mention him because of our discussion of twins, as seen on "60 Minutes."
