hey, I think this whole thing that we've got going on is going to be really interesting. i would like to pitch in some new ideas. I would like to suggest that, we discuss controversial topics such as: why the the USA did not do anything while Rwanda was in Genocide or how come school systems in some parts of the world are stricter than others. i would like to discuss something that every single person has different opinion on so that we can debate about it forever.....well for 30 minutes :)

I agree with both Regina and Katherine. This is going to be an interesting and exciting experience. I cant wait to read future topics. I infer that there are going to be a lot of debates because I think the kids at MHVP will voice such a strong opinion. I am ready to debate and ready to learn!

I agree with the previous comments. Not only is this forum meant to express our opinions, but it is also a form of entertainment. I enjoy read the comments of others because it gives me the opportunity to respond the way I want to respond. It should be interesting.

Hi everyone, Ms Cohen asked me if I would join your blog and I am happy to do it! I teach History and Geography at Bunker Hill Community College just outside of Boston. I can tell you guys already have a great attitude about the blog - so many responses already! I agree with Randy that if you can see this not just as learning but as entertainment, it will make it that much easier and fun. I know you all were chosen to take part in this blog (and more? it sounds like it may be a lunchtime class too?) due to your great grades, perseverance and all around positive attitude. If that is the case I'm guessing that soon enough you'll be applying to colleges and probably even writing a few admissions essays where you can totally talk about this. Your participation in this group will look really good on your application! We love this extra initiative at college. I'm looking forward to joining you.

I agree with the above comments. I am so excited for this opportunity we have. I'm looking forward to sharing and hearing ideas. I disagree with Andrew, I think we would learn and have fun at the same time. :]We are going to agree and disagree in most of the things. I personally think that this is going to be fun and we are going to learn a lot.
